Terranova Hyaluronic Acid Complex contains horsetail. People with hypersensitivity to carrots should use it with caution due to cross-allergenicity between horsetail and carrots. Horsetail also contains small quantities of nicotine, which may cause hypersensitivity reactions in people with nicotine allergy. Due to the horsetail in the formulation, care is required in patients who are at risk of potassium deficiency. If Terranova Hyaluronic Acid Complex is used over the long term, periodic monitoring of potassium levels is advised in these individuals. Terranova Hyaluronic Acid Complex contains parsley, patients with bleeding disorders and/or diabetes to adhere to the recommended maximum daily dose. Parsley in high doses may have antiplatelet effects and might lower blood glucose levels. In the event of a hypersensitivity reaction, use should be immediately discontinued. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you take prescription medicines, consult your healthcare provider before use. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children.
