Terranova Living Multinutrient Complex features a wide array of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that are additionally enhanced by MAGNIFOOD, a bespoke combination of intensely synergistic wholefoods and botanicals providing a vast array of active phytonutrients and other plant compounds. MAGNIFOOD is designed to support optimal bioavailability, utilization and function of the nutrients, as well as providing the wide- ranging properties of each plant ingredient. The Magnifood blend has 16 ingredients and comprises 70% of the product. Additionally, it has added Lutein, Lycopene, and Carotenoids with Lipoic Acid to help recycle the antioxidants in the formulation.   The high level of phytonutrients creates a more alkaline environment in the body than standard multinutrient formulas.   All Terranova Multivitamin formulations provide many vitamins in their biologically active form, such as methylfolate (folate), methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12), vegan cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) and *MenaQ7® (Vitamin K2).   Manganese is provided as bisglycinate chelate using Albion Lab’s state-of-the-art *TRAACS.   TRAACS stands for The Real Amino Acid Chelate System and is AlbionHuman Nutrition’s branded trade name for a range of its exclusive patented products. The TRAACS name is born out of many years of extensive research and is reflective of the unique technology which ensures that minerals are easily digested and well absorbed, stable, and well tolerated.   Iron is provided in the form of iron bisglycinate chelate (Ferrochel) which is an effective form that is exceptionally well-tolerated by the gastrointestinal system. As such iron bisglycinate is not associated with gastrointestinal side effects (nausea, constipation) in the same way that most other forms of iron are. Studies have demonstrated its superior bioavailability even to the extent that its absorption is not impaired by the dietary inclusion of tannins and phytates (which typically hinder iron absorption).   • SPIRULINA is one of nature’s richest sources of plant pigments (such as chlorophyll, carotenoids and phycocyanin) and highly digestible protein (typically more than 55%), as well as providing vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and other compounds vital to life (i.e. the powerful antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase [SOD]).
  • GREEN BARLEY GRASS contains a wide array of impor- tant health-giving compounds including chlorophyll and carotenoid pigments, easily digested protein (approximately 30%), fibre, vitamins, minerals and several important enzymes (such as the potent antioxidant su- peroxide dismutase [SOD]).
  • STABILIZED RICE BRAN has one of nature’s highest concentrations of the vitamin E-related compounds tocopherols and tocotrienols, as well as B-vitamins, fibre, essential fatty acids, minerals and more than 100 different antioxidant compounds (such as alpha lipoic acid [which also recycles antioxidants such as vitamins C and E], co-enzyme Q10 (CoQ10), carotenoids and the antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD), per- oxidase and catalase).
  • SEA BUCKTHORN BERRY & LEAF contain a very high content of vitamin E (both tocopherols and tocotrienols), vitamin C and plant pigments such as flavonoids and carotenoids making this one of the most powerful antioxidant plants ever studied. Sea buckthorn is also noted for its concentration of omega 7 fats, which are less well known than omega 3, 6 and 9, but are highly regarded for their potential health and beauty applications.

  • BLACK RASPBERRY also rates very high in ORAC val- ue, with potent antioxidant flavonoids and carotenoids being especially prominent. This fruit has a particularly high level of lutein and alpha carotene.
